Practice has to be adjusted today, per Mr. Laine.  Practice will end at 3:00pm.  A mandatory meeting has been called of all Prince William County coaches.  Since this is just now being posted, make sure you are networking with one another to ensure everyone receives the information.  Thank you for the last minute adjustment.

Eveyone is asked to bring a treat/dessert items to share at the meeting on Monday, August 1st.  Just a small treat, not for our total numbers, just a dozen (12) as we do when making treats during the season.  This will provide a variety to pick from.  Coaches will provide drinks.  Perhaps the sugar will keep us all alert during concussion training :0)..........or just listening to Coach Turch a little nicer. ;0)

Our very own Yellow Jackets have received the honor of peforming with the USA World team!!!!  We are so proud!!!  This is such an honor to represent our program and our country in this capacity!!!!

Concussion Training (if you have not attended) 7-8pm

Some people were having difficulty seeing the August schedule passed the first week.  Our tech person has fixed it.  Please review again.

If you AND a PARENT do not attend July 20th at 7pm, you AND a PARENT MUST attend August 1st at 7pm.  This is mandatory, per the state.  You will not be cleared to practice without this training.  Again, you will need to attach proof of attendance to your physical.  Make sure physical is on the NEW form.  If physical is on the old form, you will need to have your doctor transfer forms.  Contact coaches with any questions.  DO NOT wait until the last minute.

The August calendar has been posted.  The calendar is subject to change.  Please DO NOT make any hard plans that are not able to be reschedled without double checking with coaches.

Happy Graduation to Brianna, Buck, and Joyce!!! 

Brianna Taylor will be attending Northern Virginia Community College in the fall and coaching for the National Championship All Star Vipers program!!  You go girl!!!

Chelsea Buckner has been accpeted to George Mason University, where she will be cheering on the Co-Ed squad!!! Work it Buck!!!

Joyce Theisen has been accepted to James Madison University, where she will be cheering on the All-Girl Squad!!  Joyce is also this year's recipient of the Kristin Marie Harkness Love and Laughter Memorial Scholarship and Award!!  So Proud!!!

Oh yes, it's our mascot BUMBLE BEE back in action!!!  Transformers 3 opens June 28th at AMC Potomac Mills (Woodbridge) at 9:00pm and 12midnight in IMAX and 3D!!!  What!!! Fabulous!!  Get together and go see as a group!  Tickets will go super fast!  Transformer Fans are already ordering them!  All coaches will be out of town on the 28th but we'll be in a theater on our vacations!!!  However, while you're out "Autobots Are Watching Over You!" "Bee" good!!! ;0)

Per Prince William County, ALL ATHLETES AND PARENTS must have concussion training before that athlete may begin the season.  Two dates are being offered July 20th (7pm in auditorium-OPHS) or August 1st (7pm in auditorium-OPHS).  Conseqently, practices may not begin now until August 2nd.  Again, you and a parent MUST attend one of these sessions or you may not cheer.  No exceptions, per new Prince William County regulations. 

ALL CHEERLEADERS MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF FINAL REPORT CARD TO COACH TURCH VIA SCANNING INTO AN EMAIL OR MAILING TO COACH TURCH'S HOME ADDRESS BY THURSDAY, JUNE 30TH!!!!!  DON'T FORGET EMAIL HAS CHANGED!!!!  DEMERITS WILL BE GIVEN FOR REPORT CARDS TURNED IN LATE.

OPHS Cheer's new email address is osbournparkcheer@gmail.com.  Every OPHS cheerleader should send an email to this address by Thursday, June 30th to confirm receipt of the new email address.  Please adjust your address books.  The former address will no longer be utilized.  All OPHS cheer contact should now go to the new address.
